EVA Outbreak Stops Racing At Buenos Aires Tracks

Argentina's National Service Of Animal Health (SENASA) announced an emergency halt to racing at Palermo, La Plata & San Isidro racetracks in Buenos Aires, following an EVA outbreak at Palermo. SENASA confirmed horse movements within the Buenos Aires province will be restricted for the next 15 days. The virus "is believed to have entered Argentina through frozen semen from Holland that was acquired by a local breeder".
