1st Winner For Gr1-Winning Shuttler Ad Valorem

In Europe, dual Gr1-winning Irish-based 8YO freshman sire & former Woodlands Stud & now Darley southern hemisphere shuttler Ad Valorem (Danzig-Classy Women, by Relaunch) recorded his 1st winner when Irish-bred 2YO filly Samaden (Ad Valorem-Salpiglossis, by Monsun) scored by 6-lengths over 1200m at the Capannelle in Rome for Italian trainer Marco Mercalli. Ad Valorem stands for €5,000 (A$7,250) at Coolmore Stud in County Tipperary & has 101 2YOs in his 1st Northern Hemisphere crop. On the track, Ad Valorem won 4 of 13 starts (10 Gr1 starts, including victory in both the 2004 UK Gr1 Middle Park Stakes as a 2YO & 2006 UK Gr1 Queen Anne Stakes).
