Gold Coast Accuses Bentley Of "Confidentiality Breach"

The Gold Coast Turf Club last night provocatively posted on its website letters written yesterday by its chairman Andrew Eggleston to Queensland Minister for Racing Peter Lawlor (with copies to Queensland Premier Anna Bligh & Treasurer Andrew Fraser) & to Queensland Racing Director Of Integrity Operations Jamie Orchard claiming Queensland Racing chairman Bob Bentley may have breached a "confidentiality clause" that could harm the club's future commercial operations & seeking a Government inquiry into the matter. The key complaint is that Bentley has made public the fee the GCTC receives from Sky Channel to broadcast its races.
