Roc De Cambes Joins The Oaks Stud At NZ$7k

NZ-bred Japanese dual Gr2-winning & Gr1-placed 5YO stallion Roc De Cambes (Red Ransom-Fairy Lights, by Fairy King) has joined the 2010 roster at NZ's The Oaks Stud, alongside Sakhee's Secret, Darci Brahma, Bachelor Duke, Spartacus & Keeninsky. Roc de Cambes (a $130,000 yearling purchase by Japan's Northern Farm owner Katsumi Yoshida at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney) won Japan's Gr2 St Lite Kinen (2200m), Gr2 Meguro Kinen (2500m) & Gr3 Radio Nikkei Sho (1800m) & finished 3rd in the Gr1 Japanese St Leger (3000m) & earned NZ$2.8 million. His performances as a 3YO earned a 115 figure on the World Thoroughbred Racehorse Rankings & the Japan Racing Association ranked him as 2nd-equal (Rating 115) behind champion filly Vodka (117) on the 2007 Japanese 3YO Turf Rankings. The Oaks 2010 stallion roster is:
