4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley:

  • 4YO gelding Prosperous (Blackfriars-It's Not True, by Carry A Smile) won over 1000m for trainer Me Tsui. Prosperous was a $52,500 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding First In Command (Commands-Glenbawn, by Bigstone) won over 1200m for expatriate Australian trainer John Moore. First In Command was a $130,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 5YO gelding Daily Double (El Moxie-Giaconda, by Hennessy) won over 1200m for trainer Andy Leung. Daily Double was a $9,000 weanling at the 2005 Inglis  Australian Select Sale & subsequently a $34,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Happy Tumbler (Danehill Dancer-Magic Tumbler, by Woodman) won over 1650m for Australian trainer David Hall. Happy Tumbler was a $70,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
