2,000 NZ Wins For Trainer Graeme Rogerson

In New Zealand, trans-Tasman trainer Graeme Rogerson recorded his 2,000th NZ winner when 4YO gelding Pocket Diary (Jungle Pocket-Dear Diary, Desert Prince) scored at Ruakaka. Rogerson has been training since 1969 & notched his 1st winner with his 1st runner when Morven Queen scored at Rotorua. In January 2008 Rogerson became NZ's all-time leading trainer, when he passed the previous record held by Dave O'Sullivan (1,877 winners). He has won the NZ training premiership 12 times.
