Favourite Fuego E Hierro (ridden by Edwin Talaverano for trainer Conrado Linares) defeated 7YO entire & both 2009 Horse-Of-The-Year & Champion Older Horse Life Of Victory (Incurable Optimist-La Gran Portada, by Hidden Prize) & front-running 5YO entire Brave Halo (Southern Halo-Batty Valerosa, by Batty). Last month, Fuego e Hierro also defeated older rivals by 4-lengths to win Argentina's Gr3 Clasico Porteno (2400m) at San Isidro & overall now has 5 wins (also including 2009's Gr2 Clasico Provincia De Buenos Aires by 8-lengths over 2400m at San Isidro) & 5 placings (including runner-up in March's Listed Clasico Regimiento De Granadores A Caballo Handicap over 2200m at San isidro) from 20 starts.
