In Macau, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Taipa:

  • 7YO gelding Optical Prize (Secret Savings-Top Tips, by Canny Lad) won over 1050m for trainers A.Ngai & Y.C.Chan. Optical Prize was passed-in as a yearling for $32,500 at the 2004 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale & subsequently a $30,000 2YO at the 2004 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 3YO gelding The Happy Power (Fantastic Light-Lots Of Class, by Ostensible) won over 1300m for trainer Pat. Lee. The Happy Power was a $52,500 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Palm Trilogy (Dubai Destination-Dubai Ice, by Danehill) won over 1500m for trainer Y.C.Fung. Palm Trilogy was passed-in as a yearling for $90,000 at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 5YO gelding Chinese Express (Bletchley Park-Miss Torpago, by Is It True) won over 1300m for trainer K.C.Chong. Chinese Express was a $75,000 yearling consigned by Alwyn Park at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
