Former Darley shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a US black-type success when 5YO gelding Elusive Gift (Elusive Quality-Christmas Gift, by Green Desert) scored by a neck in the US$50,000 Listed John Marsh Stakes (5.5 furlongs on turf) at Colonial Downs in Virginia. Elusive Gift (ridden by Horacio Karamanos for trainer Anthony Dutrow) defeated 6YO gelding Frisky Thunder (Thunder Rumble-Port St Mary, by Seattle Slew) & 3YO gelding That'sthequestion (Holy Bull-What Do I Do, by Two Smart). Elusive Gift took his record to 4 wins & 3 runners-up from 11 starts for US$148,892 earnings.
