Monday, 31st May 2010

In the Australian sales ring, Baramul Stud's Gerry Harvey paid top price of $1.025 million for Gr1-winning & dual Gr1-placed 6YO mare Cheeky Choice (Redoute's Choice-Christchurch, by Caerleon) during yesterday's opening session at the 4-day Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Queensland Gold Coast. Cheeky Choice (consigned by Bellagio Lodge as agent for Bellagio Lodge & Secret Hill Farms) was sold in-foal to Vinery Stud shuttler More Than Ready. Harvey commented: "She's a lovely mare who proved her class on the racetrack & she has a bright future ahead at stud. She would be a stand-out at any farm around the world."
