Tiger Hill Adds French Black-Type

Also in France, triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Tiger Hill (Danehill-The Filly, by Appiani) added a black-type success when evergreen 9YO gelding Young Tiger (Tiger Hill-Youngolina, by Trempolino) prevailed in a 3-way photo-finish to the €60,000 (A$90,000) Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux (1900m) for 4YOs & up at Bordeaux (after finishing runner-up in this race last year). Young Tiger (ridden by Jean-Bernard Eyquem for trainer Francois Rohaut) scored by a short-neck from 5YO entire Macondo (Kendor-Makila, by Entrepreneur) with a further short-head to 4YO entire Skins Game (Diktat-Mouriyana, by Akarad). Young Tiger took his record to 19 wins (also including last start's Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse on May 2, plus 2009's Listed Prix Max Sicard over 2400m at Toulouse, Listed Grand Prix De La Ville De Nantes over 2400m at Nantes & Listed Grand Prix De Lyon over 2400m at Lyon-Parilly, as well as 2008's Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse & 2007's Listed Prix Du Grand Camp over 2400m at Lyon-Parilly) & 12 placings (including 2009's Listed Grand Prix De Bordeaux over 1900m & Listed Le Vase D'Argent over 2000m at Toulouse, plus 2004's Gr3 Prix La Force over 2000m at Saint-Cloud) from 31 starts for €448,062 (A$672,000) earnings.
