US Gr2-winning & Gr1-placed 9YO 2nd-crop stallion Eurosilver (Unbridled's Song-Russian Tango, by Nijinsky II) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when front-running colt Golden Euro (Eurosilver-Our Friend Hidayet, by Fast Play) notched his 3rd successive victory when he scored by a neck in the US$95,000 Listed USA Stakes (8.5 furlongs on turf) for 3YOs at Lone Star Park. Golden Euro (ridden by Bryan McNeil for trainer Joseph Petalino) defeated the geldings Shoot It's War (Royal Academy-Shootin War, by Lord At War) & B'wanagoldmine (Bwana Charlie-Alphabet Gold, by Alphabet Soup). Golden Euro (a US$20,000 yearling at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton October Sale) now has 3 wins & a placing from 7 starts for US$88,950 earnings. His sire Eurosilver (who stands at Dromoland Farm in Kentucky for US$6,000) notched 4 wins (including the Gr2 Lane's End Breeders' Futurity & Gr3 Skip Away Handicap) & 4 placings (including the Gr1 Stephen Foster Handicap, Gr3 Swale Stakes & Listed Perryville Stakes) from 12 starts for US$622,310 earnings.
