Former Grand Lodge Thoroughbreds shuttler Distorted Humor (Forty Niner-Danzig's Beauty, by Danzig) added a 2nd US black-type success when 5YO entire Crimson Comic (Distorted Humor-Madame Red, by Forest Wildcat) scored a 2.75-lengths victory in the US$75,000 Listed Memorial Day Handicap (8 furlongs) at Mountaineer Park in West Virginia. Crimson Comic (ridden by Ricardo Feliciano for trainer Mark Shuman) defeated 4YO entire For All Who Conga (Congaree-For All Who Dream, by Eltish) & fellow 5YO entire Rogue Victory (Victory Gallop-Romp And Stomp, by Olympio). Crimson Comic now has 7 wins (also including 2009's Listed Slipton Fell Handicap over 8.5 furlongs at Mountaineer Park) & 3 runners-up (including April's Listed Henry Clark Stakes over 8 furlongs at Mountaineer Park) from 25 starts for US$241,736 earnings.
