1st Stakes-Winner For Freshman Shuttler Holy Roman Emperor

Dual Gr1-winning freshman sire & Coolmore shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (Danehill-L'On Vite, by Secretariat) recorded his 1st stakes-winner when Irish-bred 2YO colt High Award (Holy Roman Emperor-Tarascon, by Tirol) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the UK Listed Woodcote Stakes (6 furlongs) for 2YOs at Epsom Downs. High Award (ridden by Johnny Murtagh for trainer Tommy Stack) defeated fellow colts Dubawi Gold (Dubawi-Savannah Belle, by Green Desert) & Irish-bred Premier Clarets (Ivan Denisovich-Blueberry Walk, by Green Desert). High Award (whose dam Tarascon won the Gr1 Irish 1000 Guineas) was a 425,000 guineas (A$765,000) foal purchased by Coolmore representative Demi O'Byrne at the 2008 UK Tattersalls November Sale. Overall he now has 2 wins & a runner-up from 4 starts for £33,748 (A$58,000) earnings.
