1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Too Much Bling

Multiple US Gr2-winning 7YO freshman sire Too Much Bling (Rubiano-Rose Colored, Lady by Formal Dinner) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Show Me The Bling (Too Much Bling-Angelic Amanda, by Hennessy) scored on debut over 5 furlongs at Monmouth Park in New Jersey for trainer Patrick Biancone. Ohio-bred Too Much Bling (who stands at Lane's End Texas for US$4,000) won a 2YO maiden at Thistledown by 19.5-lengths in July 2005, before running 3rd in the Gr1 Hopeful Stakes; he then won 4 of his 6 starts as a 3YO (including the Gr2 San Vicente Stakes, Gr2 Carry Back Stakes & Gr3 Bay Shore Stakes) & retired with 5 wins & 3 placings (including the 2006 Gr2 Woody Stephens Breeders' Cup Stakes) from 11 starts for US$509,674 earnings.
