NZ-Bred Oracy To Stand At South African Stud

Monday, 7th June 2010

South Africa's Klawervlei Stud also announced it will stand NZ-bred Gr2-winning stallion Oracy (Zabeel-Lady Dehere, by Dehere) in the 2010 Southern Hemisphere breeding season. Oracy (whose NZ Gr2-winning dam Lady Dehere is a half-sister to Western Australia's Mungrup Stud-based Gr2-winning sire Oratorio) was a $400,000 yearling consigned from Cambridge Stud at the 2007 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale. Oracy won both South Africa's 2009 Gr2 Gauteng Guineas (1600m) at Turffontein & 2008 Gr2 Unitrans Dingaans (1600m) at Turffontein.
