5 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 5YO gelding Shatin Treasure (Genuine-Plume Lover, by Military Plume) won over 1400m for trainer Tony Millard. Shatin Treasure was a $15,000 weanling consigned by Chatswood Stud at the 2005 Inglis Victorian June Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Vintage Hussler (Hussonet-Froth And Bubble, by Jugah) won over 1000m for trainer Gary Ng.
  • 3YO gelding Touch Chic (Good Journey-Outgunned, by Military Plume) won over 1400m for trainer Francis Lui. Touch Chic was a $9,500 weanling at the 2007 Inglis Great Southern Sale & subsequently passed-in as a yearling for $26,000 at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Chater DCat (Tale Of The Cat-Royal Season, by Royal Academy) won over 1800m for trainer David Ferraris. Chater D'Cat was a $30,000 yearling consigned by Namerik Thoroughbreds at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Entrapment (Halo Homewrecker-Miabondialee, by Vettori) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Size. Entrapment was a $16,000 weanling consigned by Trevannah at the 2007 Magic Millions National Sale & subsequently a NZ$45,000 yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Carnival Sale.
