Giant's Causeway Adds US Black-Type

Former Coolmore shuttler Giant's Causeway (Storm Cat-Mariah's Storm, by Rahy) added a US black-type success when expensive 4YO mare First Passage (Giant's Causeway-Win's Fair Lady, by Dehere) scored a half-length victory in the US$50,900 Listed U Can Do It Stakes (6.5 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Calder. First Passage (ridden by Jermaine Bridgmohan for trainer Martin Wolfson) defeated 6YO mare Saratoga Tango (Successful Appeal-Dark Tango, by Roanoke) & fellow 4YO mare Don'ttalkto me (Cactus Ridge-Withdrawn, by Phone Trick). First Passage (a US$1.2 million yearling at the 2007 Keeneland September Sale) now has 5 wins (also including 2009's Gr3 Azalea Stakes over 6 furlongs at Calder, Listed Leave Me Alone Stakes over 6 furlongs at Calder & Listed Snurb Stakes over 5.5 furlongs at Calder) & 2 placings (including April's Listed Harmony Lodge Stakes over 6.5 furlongs at Calder) from 10 starts for US$287,440 earnings.
