UK Owner Findlay Warned-Off For "Laying Horses To Lose"
The British Horseracing Authority warned-off racehorse owner & professional gambler Harry Findlay for 6 months after finding him guilty of "laying one of his own runners to lose on 2 occasions" reported racingpost.com. Findlay (who owns a large string of horses including 2008 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Denman) claimed the 1st bet was made in error & the 2nd was to lay off a win bet.
