4 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

Also in HK last night, 4 Australia-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 3YO gelding Mighty Feeling (Faltaat-Clear Advantage, by Stark South) won over 1600m for trainer David Ferraris. Mighty Feeling was a $175,000 yearling consigned by Westbury Stud at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale.
  • 4YO gelding King Of Scots (King Of Prussia-Scot's Lassie, by Salmon Leap) won over 1600m for trainer Andreas Schutz. King Of Scots was passed-in as a 2YO for $16,000 at the 2007 Inglis Victorian Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Sichuan Success (Fastnet Rock-Coureuse, by Tierce) won over 1200m for Australian trainer John Size. Sichuan Success was a $135,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  •  YO gelding El Morro (Brief Truce-Miduki, by Snippets) won over 1200m for trainer Caspar Fownes. El Morro was a $7,000 weanling at the 2006 Inglis Victorian June Sale.
