Beadman Staying In HK "As Long As I Can"
Meanwhile Hong Kong-based former champion Sydney jockey Darren Beadman "won't be returning home anytime soon" reported The Daily Telegraph. Beadman "says he is enjoying HK racing more than ever" & hopes to stay "as long as I can". Beadman & his wife Kim "are entering a new phase in their lives", with 19-year-old twin daughters Jess & Rachel due to leave HK in 3 weeks & return to Sydney, where their year-older brother Mitchell is an apprentice jockey. Beadman (who won the Sydney premiership 8 times) told the newspaper: "It will be difficult when the girls leave, but Kim & I love HK, we love the lifestyle & I really enjoy the competitiveness of HK racing. I've got no plans to leave."
