Fuji Kiseki Adds Japan Black-Type

In Japan, former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Fuji Kiseki (Sunday Silence-Millracer, by Le Fabuleux) added a black-type success when daughter Shimmei Fuji (Fuji Kiseki-Lady Muse, by Timber Country) scored a 1.5-lengths victory in the ¥54.4 million (A$695,000) Listed Kanto Oaks (2100m) for 3YO fillies at Kawasaki. Shimmei Fuji (ridden by Hiroyuki Uchida for trainer Takayuki Yasuda) defeated Hermia (Figaro-Summer Shakes, by Jade Robbery) & Ginga Seven (Tap Dance City-Bakushin Maker, by Sakura Bakushin-Oh). Shimmei Fuji took her record to 3 wins (also including 2009's Listed Niigata Nisai Stakes over 1600m at Niigata) & a runner-up from 8 starts for ¥87.828 million (A$1.12m) earnings.
