Medaglia D'Oro Adds Canadian Black-Type
In Canada overnight, multiple Gr1-winning boom US 3rd-season sire & now Darley shuttler Medaglia D'Oro (El Prado-Cappucino Bay, by Bailjumper) added a black-type success when 4YO mare Tasty Temptation (Medaglia D'Oro-Parisia, by Tethra) made it 4 successive wins with a 1-length victory in the Listed Hill 'N' Dale Stakes (8.5 furlongs on all-weather) for fillies & mares at Woodbine in Toronto. Tasty Temptation (ridden by Patrick Husbands for trainer Mark Casse) defeated fellow 4YO mares Milwaukee Appeal (Milwaukee Brew-Appealing Forum, by Open Forum) & front-running US-bred La Rocca (Toccet-Perfect Wave, by Boston Harbor). Last year Tasty Temptation also won Canada's Listed Wonder Where Stakes (10 furlongs) at Woodbine & finished runner-up in both the Listed Woodbine Oaks (9 furlongs) & Listed La Lorgnette Stakes (8.5 furlongs) at Woodbine. Overall she now boasts 5 wins from 13 starts.
