US Gr1 Winner Line Of David Retired To Stud At Spendthrift

In the US, Gr1-winning 3YO colt Line Of David (Lion Heart-Emma's Dilemma, by Capote) "has been retired from racing" after being purchased by B. Wayne Hughes, who plans to stand this year's Gr1 Arkansas Derby winner at his Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky, reported bloodhorse.com. In April's Arkansas Derby, front-running Line Of David was followed home by subsequent Gr1 Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver & fellow Gr1-winner Dublin. Florida-bred Line Of David retires with 3 wins & a placing from 7 starts for US$662,000 earnings.
