Chinese White Wins Irish Gr1 Pretty Polly Stakes

In Ireland, 5YO mare Chinese White (Dalakhani-Chiang Mai, by Sadler's Wells) scored a 1.25 lengths victory in the €200,000 (A$290,000) Gr1 Pretty Polly Stakes (10 furlongs) for fillies & mares at The Curragh. Having her final career start Chinese White (ridden by Pat Smullen for trainer Dermot Weld) defeated Irish-bred 4YO mare Flying Cloud (Storming Home-Criquette, by Shirley Heights) & UK-bred 3YO filly Akdarena (Hernando-Akdariya, by Shirley Heights) in registering her 1st Gr1 victory. She retires with 7 wins from 14 starts.
