In Japan, Japan-bred 4YO entire Nakayama Festa scored a 0.5-lengths win in the ¥257 million (A$3.3 million) Gr1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) at Hanshin. Nakayama Festa (ridden by Yoshitomi Shibata for trainer Yoshitaka Ninomiya) defeated Japan-bred 4YO mare Buena Vista (Special Week-Biwa Heidi, by Caerleon) & Japan-bred 5YO entire Earnestly (Grass Wonder-Lettre D'amour, by Tony Bin). Nakayama Festa now has 5 wins (also including April's Listed Tokyo Metropolitan Stakes over 2400m & 2009's Listed Nakayama RF Radio Nippon Sho St.Lite Kinen over 2200m & 2008's Listed Tokyo Sports Hai Nisai Stakes over 1800m) & 1 placing (2009's Gr3 Nakayama Keisei Hai over 2000m) from 10 starts.
