Prized Adds UK Gr3

US Gr1-winning former NZ Fayette Park shuttler Prized (Kris S-My Turbulent Miss, by My Dad George) added a group success when US-bred 6YO gelding Premio Loco (Prized-Crazee Mental, by Magic Ring) scored a 0.75-lengths victory in the £65,000 (A$112,000) Gr3 Criterion Stakes (7 furlongs) at Newmarket in England. Premier Loco (ridden by J. Michell for C. Mitchell) defeated US-bred 3YO colt Red Jazz (Johannesburg-Now That's Jazz, by Sword Dance) & US-bred 4YO entire Doncaster Rover (War Chant-Rebridled Dreams, by Unbridled's Song). Premio Loco also won Germany's Gr2 Darley Oettingen-Rennen (1600m) at Baden-Baden on September 1 & earlier this season he also won both the UK Listed On the House Stakes (8 furlongs) at Goodwood & Listed Ladybird Stakes (8 furlongs) at Kempton, as well as finishing runner-up in both the Gr3 Winter Derby (10 furlongs) at Lingfield Park & Listed Midsummer Stakes (8 furlongs) at Windsor. Premio Loco was a 19,000 guineas (A$34,000) yearling at the 2005 Tattersalls December Sale. Overall he now has 9 wins & 2 runners-up from 16 starts.
