Danetime Adds UK Black-Type

Monday, 27th September 2010

Ill-fated former WA-based Alwyn Park Stud shuttler Danetime (Danehill-Allegheny River, by Lear Fan) added a UK black-type success when Irish-bred 4YO mare Aspectoflove (Danetime-Rose Vibert, by Caerleon) scored by a nose in the £40,000 (A$70,000) Listed Rosemary Stakes (8 furlongs) for fillies & mares at Ascot. Aspectoflove (ridden by Ted Durcan for trainer Saeed Bin Suroor) defeated 3YO filly Sajjhaa (King's Best-Anaamil, by Darshaan) & Irish-bred 3YO filly I'm A Dreamer (Noverre-Summer Dreams, by Sadler's Wells). Aspectoflove was a €24,000 (A$34,000) weanling at the 2006 Goffs November Sale & later a 31,000 guineas (A$56,000) yearling at the 2007 Doncaster August Sale; overall she now has 5 wins (also including 2009's Irish Listed Garnet Stakes over 8 furlongs at Naas) & 4 placings (including both February's UAE Gr3 Cape Verdi Stakes over 1600m at Meydan & UAE Listed Balanchine Stakes over 1800m at Meydan) from 17 starts for £146,801 (A$257,000) earnings.
