In Venezuela, 5YO entire San Nicolas (Grace Of Darby-Iah, by Conquilot) scored by a head in the Gr1 Clasico Jockey Club De Venezuela (1800m on turf) at Hipodromo La Rinconada in Caracas. San Nicolas (ridden by R.Ordonez for trainer A.Catanese) defeated 4YO entire Mr Giovany (Slaytheodds-Yerbasanta, by Slewbop) & 6YO entire Guadalquivir (Water Poet-Tellaerre, by Mumbai). Last month San Nicolas finished 3rd in the Listed Copa Taconeo (1900m) at La Rinconada; & previously in 2008 he finished 3rd in the Gr1 Clasico Jose Antonio Paez (1600m) at La Rinconada & runner-up in the listed Clasico My Own Business (1800m) at La Rinconada.
