Irish Yearlings: Average Up 5.5%

Overall 126 yearling sold for €472,550 (A$666,000) which was up 28%. The average of €3,750 (A$5,300) was up 5.5% & the median of €2,000 (A$2,800) was up 5.3%. The clearance rate was 62.1% (up from last year's 48.1%). Goffs chief executive Henry Beeby summed up: "We all have a long way to go before we get back to the vibrancy of a few years ago, but we are moving in the right direction."
