Dubai World Cup Winner Gloria De Campeao To Stand In Sweden

This year's Gr1 Dubai World Cup-winning 6YO entire Gloria De Campeao (Impression-Audacity, by Clackson) "will begin his stallion career in Sweden," reported bloodhorse.com. Brazilian-bred Gloria De Campeao (who also finished runner-up in the 2009 Gr1 Dubai World Cup) was retired in August due to a tendon injury by his Swedish owner Srefan Friborg "who also plans to stand him at stud in Brazil". Overall he earned US$9,258,355 with victories also including the 2009 Gr1 Singapore Airlines International Cup (he was runner-up in the Singapore race this year) & January's UAE Gr3 Maktoum Challenge Round 1 (1600m), plus 2007's Brazil Gr2 Grande Premio Gervasio Seabra (1600m) & Gr3 Grande Premio Presidente Antonio De Assumpcao Netto (1600m), as well as placing in March's UAE Gr2 Maktoum Challenge Round 3 (2000m), plus both 2008's Gr2 Maktoum Challenge Round 3 (2000m) & Gr3 Maktoum Challenge Round 1 (1600m), in addition to both 2007's Brazil Gr1 Grande Premio Presidente De Republica (1600m) & Gr1 Grande Premio Presidente Da Republica (1600m).
