Gr1-Winner Midships Retired To Stud In France
In Europe, US Gr1-winning 5YO stallion Midships (Mizzen Mast-Interim, by Sadler's Wells) "has been retired to Haras de Saint Arnoult in France, where he will stand his 1st season next year at a fee of €3,000 (A$4,100)" reported racingpost.com. Midships (owned & bred by Prince Khalid Abdulla's Juddmonte Farms) "will be the 1st son of Juddmonte's Kentucky-based sire Mizzen Mast to stand in Europe. On the track, Midships won the US Gr1 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap, Gr2 San Juan Capistrano Handicap & Gr2 San Luis Ray Handicap, as well as placing in the Gr1 Hollywood Derby.
