Rakti To Stay In Aust In 2011

Wednesday, 8th December 2010

Former World Champion Miler & 6-time Gr1-winning Chatswood Stud shuttler Rakti (Polish Precedent-Ragera, by Rainbow Quest) "will take a break from Northern Hemisphere shuttling duties next year" & "remain at Chatswood Stud in Australia, instead of travelling up to his northern hemisphere base at the Irish National Stud in County Kildare" reported racingpost.com. Now 11-year-old Rakti originally retired to Ireland's Huma Park Stud in County Kildare, before switching to the Irish National Stud in 2007. He has stood each southern-hemisphere season at Chatswood since his retirement. His oldest European crop are current 3YOs.
