Thursday, 9th December 2010

In Germany, Gr1-winning 8YO stallion & former Italian juvenile champion Konigstiger (Tiger Hill-Kittiwake, by Barathea) "is to move from Gestut Fahrhof to Gestut Zoppenbroich & will stand for €2,500 (A$3,500) next year," reported racingpost.com. On the track, Konigstiger won Italy's Gr1 Gran Criterium at San Siro as a 2YO & added twin German Gr3 victories as a 3YO; his Listed-placed dam Kittiwake is a half-sister to NZ Rich Hill Thoroughbreds sire Pentire (Be My Guest-Gull Nook, by Mill Reef).
