Friday, 10th December 2010

Also in Japan, former Arrowfield Stud shuttler Fuji Kiseki (Sunday Silence-Millracer, by Le Fabuleux) added a black-type success when 3YO filly Miracle Legend (Fuji Kiseki-Personal Legend, by Awesome Again) scored a 1.5-lengths victory over her older rivals in the ¥42.5 million (A$525,000) Listed Prix De Queen (1800m) at Funabashi. Miracle Legend (ridden by Yasunari Iwata for trainer Hideaki Fujiwara) defeated 5YO mare Sacher Mine (Mineshaft-Pulsatilla, by Gone West) & 4YO mare Tohoku Bijin (Smart Boy-Miryoku, by Riverman). Miracle Legend now has 5 wins (also including August's Listed Leopard Stakes over 1800m at Niigata) & a placing from 9 starts for ¥103.133 million (A$1.273m) earnings.
