Monday, 13th December 2010

Dual Gr1-winning 8YO northern hemisphere freshman sire & Darley southern hemisphere shuttler Ad Valorem (Danzig-Classy Women, by Relaunch) "who has stood at Coolmore in Ireland for the last 4 seasons, will not cover in the northern hemisphere in 2011 & will instead remain in Australia to again stand under the Darley banner," reported racingpost.com. Ad Valorem was "originally owned in partnership with Coolmore & Woodlands Stud before the latter was bought in its entirety by Sheikh Mohammed in 2008". He stood this year at Darley's Aberdeen-based Kelvinside in NSW for $11,000. In Europe he boasts 13 2YO 1st-crop winners.
