Xin Xu Lin Wins Argentina Gr1 Carlos Pellegrini

In South America's most important annual race, boom Brazilian-bred 3YO colt Xin Xu Lin (Wondertross-Barbiera, by Pleasant Variety) notched his 4th Gr1 triumph with a 2-lengths victory over his older rivals in Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini (2400m on turf) at San Isidro in Buenos. Xin Xu Lin (ridden by Antonio Correa Da Silva for trainer Estanislau Petrochinski) defeated fellow Brazilian-bred 4YO entire Send Inthe Clowns (Know Heights-Heavenly Dancer, by Fitzcarraldo) & Argentine-bred 4YO entire Fuego e Hierro (Pure Prize-Fusillette, by Candy Stripes) in the field of 19 top South American gallopers. At his previous start, Xin Xu Lin (Wondertross-Barbiera, by Pleasant Variety) blitzed his 17 rivals by 6.75-lengths in last month's Brazilian Gr1 Grande Premio Derby Paulista (2400m) at Cidade Jardim in Sao Paulo & overall now boasts 5 wins (also including September's Brazilian Gr1 Grande Premio Ipiranga by 7.5-lengths over 1600m at Cidade Jardim & May's Brazilian Gr1 Grande Premio Juliano Martins over 1600m at Cidade Jardim) & a placing (in October's Brazilian Gr1 Grande Premio Jockey Club De Sao Paulo over 2000m at Cidade Jardim) from 7 starts.
