6 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong yesterday, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin:

  • 5YO gelding Speed Racer (Mull Of Kintyre-Kalanda, by Kala Dancer) won over 1600m for trainer Michael Chang.
  • 3YO gelding Harsh Brown (Commands-Conquered, by Star Watch) won over 1200m for trainer Peter Ng. Harsh Brown was a $340,000 yearling consigned by Raheen Stud at the 2009 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 5YO gelding Fair Navigator (Dehere-Speaker, by Success Express) won over 1000m for trainer Tony Millard.
  • 4YO gelding Champagne Days (Encosta de Lago-Petta Gaye, by Danehill) won over 1600m for trainer Michael Chang. Champagne Days was a NZ$350,000 yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka.
  • 4YO gelding Flying Blue (Piccolo-Bright Blue, by Scenic) won over 1400m for Australian trainer John Size. Flying Blue was a NZ$80,000 yearling at the 2008 NZ Bloodstock Select Sale.
  • 3YO entire California Choice (Redoute's Choice-Storminwinter, by Seattle Slew) won over 1000m for trainer Anthony Cruz.
