1st Foal For Gr1-Winning Oasis Dream Son Naaqoos
Wednesday, 19th January 2011
In France, the 1st foal by Gr1-winning 5YO stallion Naaqoos (Oasis Dream-Straight Lass, by Machiavellian) & thus “the 1st paternal grandson of Oasis Dream, has been born at the Haras du Quesnay in Normandy” reported racingpost.com. The filly is the 2nd foal from winning Danehill Dancer mare Ourika (a half-sister to last year's Listed-placed filly Katerini). Naaqoos was a €280,000 (A$364,000) yearling who won France’s Gr1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere as a 2YO; he is owned by Shadwell & stands at the Haras du Mezeray in Normandy for €6,000 (A$7,800).
