In Malaysia, 11 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Penang:
- 3YO gelding No Money No Talk (Foreplay-Courtly Qualms, by Scrupules) won over 1100m for trainer Stephen Cook. No Money No Talk was a $12,000 weanling consigned by Retreat Farm at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $20,000 2YO at the 2009 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
- 8YO gelding Gem Arc (Canny Lad-Trislin, by Sir Tristram) won over 1600m for trainer Danis Navaratnam. Gem Arc was a $41,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
- 3YO gelding Happy Thoughts (Greenwood Lake-Hip Hop Anonymous, by Stravinsky) won over 1200m for trainer Tan Swee Hock. Happy Thoughts was a $24,000 2YO consigned by Racetree at the 2009 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
- 3YO gelding Easy Strike (Immovable Option-Flying Festival, by Ahonoora) won over 1200m for trainer K.C.Tiang. Easy Strike was a $5,000 yearling at the 2009 Brisbane Bloodstock Sale & subsequently a $30,000 2YO at the 2009 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
- 6YO gelding True Friendship (Euclase-Royal Academician, by Spritely Knight) won over 1200m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. True Friendship was a $20,000 yearling consigned by Dawson Stud at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Sale.
