Gr1-winning Vinery Stud freshman stallion Excites (Danewin-Staging, by Success Express) recorded his 2nd 1st-crop winner with his 3rd runner when 2YO colt Black Jag (Excites-I’m A Showoff, by Thunder Gulch) scored on debut over 1200m at the Gold Cast for trainer Peter Hulbert. Black Jag was a $110,000 purchase at the 2010 Magic Millions National Horses-In-Training Sale at the Gold Coast.
