In Hong Kong yesterday, triple Gr1-winning Darley shuttler Dubawi (Dubai Millennium-Zomaradah, by Deploy) added a Gr1 triumph when Irish-bred 4YO gelding Lucky Nine (Dubawi-Birjand, by Green Desert) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in the HK$6 million (A$750,000) Gr1 Classic Mile (1600m) at Sha Tin. Lucky Nine (ridden by Australian jockey Brett Prebble for trainer Caspar Fownes) defeated Irish-bred 4YO entire Xtension (Xaar-Great Joy, by Grand Lodge) & UK-bred 4YO ridgeling Treasure Lands (Selkirk-Misty Waters, by Caerleon).
