In Europe, Godolphin's Irish-bred & Gr2-winning 6YO stallion Calming Influence (King's Best-Idilic Calm, by Indian Ridge) "has been sold to stand at Kobylany Stud in Slovakia" reported racingpost.com. Calming Influence was originally a €110,000 (A$143,000) yearling at the 2006 Goffs February Sale & later a €240,000 (A$312,000) yearling at the 2006 Goffs Orby Sale. Overall he recorded 5 wins (including 2010's UAE Gr2 Godolphin Mile over 1600m at Meydan, plus both 2008's French Listed Prix De Tourgeville over 1600m at Deauville & UK Listed King Charles II Stakes over 7 furlong at Newmarket) & 3 placings (including 2010's UAE Gr3 Burj Nahaar Stakes over 1600m at Meydan) from 15 starts for £518,039 (A$793,000) earnings. Calming Influence is a half-brother to Canadian Gr2-winning sprinter Steel Light & is from the same family as multiple Gr1-winning former Darley shuttler Refuse To Bend & Gr1 Melbourne Cup winner Media Puzzle.
