Western Fever Wins Magic Millions Perth Classic

WA's Touchstone Farm-based Gr2-winning & Gr1-placed 8YO 1st-season sire Flying Pegasus (Fusaichi Pegasus-Cashier, by Danehill) added a juvenile feature success when daughter Western Fever (Flying Pegasus-Western Sunset, by Honour And Glory) scored a 1.25-lengths victory against the males in the $250,000 Magic Millions Perth Classic (1100m) for 2YOs at Ascot. Western Fever (ridden by Lucas Camilleri for trainer David Harrison) defeated favoured fellow filly Night War (General Nediym-Samar, by Secret Savings) & another filly Internationalist (Zeditave-Verstak, by Danehill). Western Fever (a $26,000 yearling consigned from Alwyn Park at the 2010 Magic Millions Perth Sale) took her record to 2 wins & 1 placing from 4 starts for $157,900 earnings.
