Zedi Knight Wins Hareeba Stakes

Deceased 5-time Gr1-winning Newhaven Park Stud stallion Zeditave (The Judge-Summoned, by Crowned Prince) added a black-type success when 6YO gelding Zedi Knight (Zeditave-Sly Sandra, by Sealed Bid) scored a 1.25-lengths victory in yesterday's $100,000 Listed Hareeba Stakes (1200m) at Mornington. Zedi knight (ridden by Craig Williams for trainer Brendan McCarthy) defeated favoured 4YO gelding Launay (Lonhro-Eve In Seychelles, by Palace Music) & top-weighted 7YO gelding Secret Flyer (Secret Savings-Lanadee, by Snaadee). Zedi Knight (a $35,000 yearling consigned by Chatswood Stud at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) took his record to 7 wins & 7 placings from 24 starts for $307,206 earnings.
