Former Darley shuttler Elusive Quality (Gone West-Touch Of Greatness, by Hero's Honor) added a group success (& 64th individual stakes-winner world-wide) when his colt Bullbars (Elusive Quality-Accessories, by Singspiel) snatched victory by a short-halfhead in the $200,000 Gr3 C.S.Hayes Stakes (1400m) for 3YO colts & geldings at Flemington. Bullbars (ridden by Mark Zahra for trainer Peter Snowden) defeated the geldings Startsmeup (Danzero-Bluevien, by Bluebird) & Spirited Eagle (Not A Single Doubt-Rezidencia, by Carnegie). Bullbars took his record to 2 wins & 3 placings (in last start's Listed Manfred Stakes over 1300m at Sandown on February 9, plus both 2010's Gr2 Stutt Stakes over 1600m at Moonee Valley & Listed McKenzie Stakes over 1200m at Moonee Valley) from 7 starts for $234,825 earnings.
