Lane's End Farm Buys Into Gr1 Winner Twirling Candy

High profile Kentucky stud farm Lane's End and owner/breeder Martin Wygod have purchased part ownership of boom US 3YO colt Twirling Candy (Candy Ride-House Of Danzing, by Chester House), according to bloodhorse.com. Twirling Candy, winner of last December's US$250,000 Gr1 Malibu Stakes (7 furlongs) for 3YOs at Santa Anita Park in California, has the record of 6 wins (also including this month's Gr2 Stub Stakes over 8.5 furlongs, 2010's Gr2 Del Mar Derby over 9 furlongs & Listed Oceanside Stakes over 8 furlongs at Del Mar) from 7 starts for US$579,900 earnings. Twirling Candy was bred by Jenny Craig and her late husband Sid. He will stand at William S. Farish's Lane's End Farm at the completion of his racing career.
