Open Day Scheduled For Inglis Premier Sale

Meanwhile on the eve of the annual Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale at Oaklands Junction (due to start at 11am on Monday Feb 28) this coming Sunday will be an open day. Among the events planned are a Q&A session with trainers Peter Moody, Mick Price, Robbie Griffiths and Robert Smerdon, and a parade of "Living Legends" that includes Better Loosen Up, Might And Power, the Premier Sale's dual Cox Plate winner Fields Of Omagh and latest retiree Apache Cat who is on his first public appearance. In addition there will also be charity auctions of Statue Of Liberty and Bel Esprit service fees (to support Living Legends), the drawing of the Sunday Herald Sun - Win A Share In A Racehorse and a host of other social activities throughout the day including local food and wine tasting.
