Dual-Derby winning Coolmore sire & former NZ Windsor Park shuttler Montjeu Sadler's Wells-Floripedes, by Top Ville) added a South African group success when 5YO gelding Golden Parachute (Montjeu-Maxamore, by Volksraad) score a 0.75-length victory in the R200,000 (A$30,000) Gr3 Chairman's Cup (3200m) at Kenilworth. Golden Parachute (ridden by C.Puller for trainer Mike Bass) defeated 4YO gelding Paddy O'Reilly (Dynasty-West Donegal, by West Man) & fellow 5YO gelding In Writing (Editor's Note-Inalay, by Candy Stripes). Golden Parachute (a NZ$170,000 yearling at the 2007 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale at Karaka) now has 4 wins & 9 placings (including 2010's Gr2 Gold Vase over 3000m at Greyville & Gr2 J&B Reserve Stayers Handicap over 2800m at Kenilworth, plus 2009's Listed Woolavington Handicap over 2400m at Kenilworth & Listed Settlers Trophy over 2400m at Kenilworth) from 28 starts for R341,860 (A$51,000) earnings.
