Vinery Stud's 6-time Gr1-winning stallion Testa Rossa (Perugino-Bo Dapper, by Sir Dapper) added a group success (& 32nd individual stakes-winner world-wide) when 5YO mare Red Flair (Testa Rossa-Blazing Aura, by Blazing Sword) scored a half-neck victory in the $125,000 Gr3 TBV Mannerism Stakes (1400m) for mares 4YO & up at Caulfield. Red Flair (ridden by Chris Symons for trainers Matt Ellerton & Simon Zahra) defeated 4YO mares Simply Put (Charge Forward-Simply The Best, by Kingdom Bay) & Mayneda Strategy (Strategic-Mayneda, by Canny Lad). Red Flair now has 6 wins & 12 placings (including 2010's Gr3 How Now Stakes over 1200m at Caulfield, Gr3 Victoria Plate over 1400m at Flemington & Listed Sprint Series Final over 1200m at Caulfield) from 33 starts for $419,363 earnings.
